Never Give up

The only way you can fail at anything is to give up.

So many things conspired over the last two years to stop me building my home business, becoming healthy and happy and finding self respect and confidence.

I never gave up. I was focused and continued reading, developing and searching for answers.

Look within yourself and strength will come.

Give thanks to the universe for everything good coming into your life.

I am feeling positive and optimistic - my children have found their feet with good careers and someone to share love with and
My Utility Warehouse business is growing daily and I can see my efforts paying off.

Times are hard for many people and I count my blessings that I have found a recession proof business that so many people can now see the benefit of.

Happy Chinese New Year to everyone, and Think Positive!!!!

This working from home gives me such wonderful flexibility. No wonder its proving to be so popular in this Internet age. Its all about freedom - the freedom to choose when and where we work and IF!!!

Today the sun shone in Lancashire and my daughter and I took charlie my grandson, and harvey, my little yorkshire terrier a walk through the fields to a huge pond to feed the ducks. It was a lovely stress free couple of hours which I would not have been able to do if I had not been self-employed.
Having a Residual income from the Utility Warehouse ensures that even when I am out enjoying myself, people are still making phone calls, using the Internet, boiling kettles and using electricity, and as I earn a percentage from their bills.
It means I still earn while I am feeding the ducks!!

My daughter does not start back at University for 4 more weeks, and so she can take advantage of our freedom too, and the three of us can be together.

My grandma, would have had a 10 hour day at the factory, and then come home to meals to prepare etc. Dad says that when he was 9, my grandma and grandad invested in a fruit and vegetable shop which meant a very early start for them.
When he came home from school, he had to help himself to bread and jam until grandma could leave the shop to make a meal. So he`s grown up to be independent and able to look after himself.

I am self employed like they were BUT I have no real overheads, am not tied to premises and set hours, and I can work around my commitments.

All I can say to anyone looking to try working from home - look carefully at the opportunities out there and see if it can be a possibility for you.
Think about "Manifesting your Destiny "as Wayne Dyer and the dvd "The secret" suggests and before you know it something will be attracted into your life to fulfil those needs.

RETIREMENT?

Whats that?

Grandmas when they got to their late fifties, used to relax, knit crochet or sew, read magazines, do some baking now and then - gardening even sometimes - at least my grandma did.

When we bought her first television, at about that age, she used to sit and watch that instead of just listening to the radio and twiddling her thumbs - Mind you day time tv was virtually non-existant then. She would come to sunday lunch without fail every week, and then snooze in the chair till it was time to take her home.

Dont get me wrong, I am not criticizing her. Her life was physically harder than mine with only cold water, no inside bathroom, no washing machine or refrigerator, dishwasher or tumble drier.

BUT when she reached her late fifties, there were no expectations of her except to just be grandma. I think she occasionally took me out for a walk in my pram or babysat but was not involved in our everyday life otherwise.

IN CONTRAST, I am divorced, running my own home, being a full time carer to my 18 month old grandson (doing it with joy), running my own business from home AND learning new computer skills by the day, being secretary to my local theosophical group, doing gardening, etc etc.

Other grandmas of this age are now expected to keep up to date with fashion, go to the gym, watch what they eat, and be fully fledged active members of society - busier or at least as busy as when they were at work.

Would I change it??

NO

I feel mentally alert and stimulated, emotionally fulfilled and pleased I am still useful and needed.
My home business helps people save money on their Phones/ Internet/ Gas and Electricity bills, either at home or in their business. I enjoy helping people and have met some amazing characters both as customers and those in the same company as me. I am enjoying building a residual income which will continue to grow even if I stop work, and I would urge other grandmas to have a serious look at this ethical established UK business.
